Nelson Grande

Nelson Grande is a professional in the field of photovoltaic systems, specializing in systems connected to the grid for industries, residences, 1 MW installations, and solar farms.

With expertise as a programmer, Nelson has worked with various types of single-phase and three-phase inverters including Fronius and SMA.

He serves as a consultant for the connection of grid-connected photovoltaic systems, focusing on aspects like load flow, short circuits, and harmonics, utilizing tools such as DIgSILENT Power Factory.

Nelson Grande is a pioneer in energy efficiency research, particularly in public buildings, collaborating with CNE-UCA. His thesis has led to the establishment of energy efficiency committees, resulting in significant cost savings on electricity bills and increased operational efficiency in public buildings.

He completed his studies in Electrical Engineering at Universidad Centroamericana 'José Simeón Cañas' and has held various roles in prestigious organizations like Enersys Solar, CNE-UCA, and Universidad Centroamericana 'José Simeón Cañas' UCA, where he has contributed as a Technical Manager, Energy Efficiency Auditor, and Mathematics Department Instructor.
