    Beyond his notable achievements, Nels is a visionary pushing the boundaries of traditional photography by pioneering transitions to 3D and immersive realities.

    In collaboration with his team, he successfully adapted cutting-edge technology like motion-control cranes to capture 72-perspective autostereoscopic 3D imagery for Peter Jackson's 'The Hobbit'.

    Continuing his innovation, Nels has developed hybrid camera array systems to enable high-resolution volumetric photography tailored for applications in Augmented Reality (AR) and the Metaverse.
