Nelly Sugu

Nelly Sugu is a dedicated individual who has transitioned from growing up without much exposure to technology to becoming a prominent figure in tech education globally.

With a passion for making a positive impact on people's lives, Nelly's current goal is to influence 1 million lives by the age of 35.

Currently, Nelly is focusing on various projects, including leading a team of instructors at HackerU to transform learners with little or no experience in web development into skilled professionals ready for hiring.

In addition, Nelly is working on empowering businesses in Africa to establish an online presence, utilizing social media to creatively market Africa to both local and global audiences, and preparing to run the 2022 Boston marathon.

Nelly's impressive list of accomplishments includes starting multiple businesses during a sabbatical in Africa, teaching web development to beginners at universities worldwide, winning prestigious hackathons, developing educational gaming apps, and creating iOS stickers for the Kinyarwanda language.

Education-wise, Nelly studied Electrical and Computer Engineering at California Baptist University and has held various roles in organizations like HackerU, UC Davis, Trilogy Education, Wayfair, and the US Navy.
