Michael Bock
Michael Bock is a technology enthusiast with a broad range of experience in software engineering. Starting his journey from a young age, Michael has demonstrated a deep passion for technology through programming, computer building, and web development. He built his first computer in middle school, created his initial website in high school, and won his inaugural Hackathon during college at PennApps.
Michael pursued his interest in technology by studying Computer Science and Business Administration at the University of Southern California. He furthered his skills by delving into iOS Development at CodePath and exploring Human-Computer Interaction through a study abroad program at the National University of Singapore.
Throughout his career, Michael has held various Software Engineering positions at renowned companies such as Boeing, Edmunds.com, Udacity, Google, YouTube, and his current role at Waymo. He has also co-founded Column Tax and been a member of South Park Commons, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit and collaborative nature.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Michael dedicates time to continuous learning, completing numerous online university-level courses, writing informative blog posts, participating in hackathons, and mentoring individuals on coding and tech career opportunities.
Michael's diverse experiences, from being a Software Engineer & Developer Advocate intern to holding senior roles at tech giants, have shaped him into a versatile and knowledgeable professional in the field of technology.
