● Initiating, developing and managing this independent Apple Authorised Training Centre by writing a business plan, obtaining funds, sourcing premises and implementing an effective business strategy. 
● Assessing market, installing Apple Authorised Training into the West Midlands, and subsequently contributing to the establishment of NTI network of training centres in Leeds, Chester and Kingston. 
● Developing the business with partner into one of the most successful Apple Authorised and media training centres in Europe. 
● Delivering Apple, Adobe and Avid certifications, as well as a Skillset Media Academy, and providing viable training solutions within the education, media, B2B, corporate and public sectors. 
● Personally focusing on and evangelising within the education sector by sourcing, developing and maintaining cooperative relationships with 15 of Apple’s key stakeholders 
● Managing Apple partner accounts in order to channel NTI training offers through reseller sales staff directly to the customer of Apple technologies within the learning sector. 
● Providing direct support for Apple seller events by presenting benefits of Apple technologies for educators at expo events, symposiums, technical seminars and the BETT education show.
● Developing and maintaining strong relationships with education procurement companies including Capita, Northgate and Zentek in order to promote the importance of early engagement, training and CPD when selling Apple technologies into the education sector. 
● Commissioned by Apple and subsequently writing, developing and delivering 9 Apple ASE training modules for the Apple ‘Solutions Experts Channel’ including modules ‘Apple in an Hour’, ‘Sharing, Social Communities and Wiki’, ‘Why Mobile’ and ‘Managing and Deployment of iOS Devices’. 
● Enjoying huge success with opening module ‘Apple in an Hour’ that succinctly demonstrates to schools and colleges what can be achieved ‘out of the box’ in a typical classroom hour.

The NTI in Birmingham

Commercial Training Manager

● Creating, developing and managing this vibrant professional recording studio with partner based in Birmingham’s Custard Factory.
● Successfully negotiating and signing contracts with a number of recording artists including ‘The Twang’, ‘Nitin Sawney’, and ‘Maseo’ from ‘De La Soul’. 
● Initiating a major showcase evening in Birmingham as a key marketing tool to increase visibility of artists called ‘State of the Nation’ sponsored by ‘Smirnoff’, ‘Channel 4 Ideas Factory’, ‘Blowback’ magazine, and ‘Kerrang’ radio that successfully linked to over 120 national record labels. 
● Creating, developing and running Apple based music technology workshops for disaffected youths in the West Midlands area. 
● Negotiating and winning community contracts including Apple’s RMX05 competition sponsored by ‘Sony BMG’, ‘Youth Music’, and ‘Times Education’. 
● Successfully running the West Midlands part of the competition with one of my students achieving second place out of the whole UK competition. 
● Developing and maintaining strong partnerships with a number of key public agencies including ‘Advantage West Midlands’, ‘Youth Music’, and ‘Birmingham Business Link’. 
● Individually won £15k of Entrepreneur funding from the ‘UK Millennium Fund’. 
● Set up four young individuals to write musical composition for TV and Film called ‘SoundFactory’ through a joint initiative and competition with Channel 4/Ideas Factory.
