Juliana Neelbauer

Juliana C. Neelbauer is an experienced attorney specializing in intellectual property-driven companies and non-profits with a background in cybersecurity compliance, data privacy, securities offerings, venture capital, debt financing, M&A, and more.

With more than 20 years of experience, Neelbauer has a unique perspective from her previous roles as a software developer, tech startup founder, IP law firm owner, and business operations executive.

She is a university lecturer and adviser, covering topics such as cybersecurity, data privacy, blockchain-related law, venture capital fundraising, and federal and state contracting law.

Neelbauer is actively involved in the startup community, serving as an Advisor for Startup Shell, Inc., and organizing the Attorney AMA Program at various collegiate hackathons, providing pro bono legal advice to participants.

She is also the host and co-producer of SocialMatchbox startup launch events and executive series, garnering national media attention and attracting prominent venture capital firms and startups.

Neelbauer holds a J.D. from the University of Maryland - Francis King Carey School of Law and has dual bachelor's degrees from the University of Pennsylvania.

Currently, she is a Partner at Drew Eckl & Farnham and has held various roles in academia and business, including at the University of Maryland and as COO at Ad Hoc LLC.
