Alex Taussig

Alex Taussig is a Partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners, a venture capital firm that invests in early-stage consumer technology companies like Flockjay and Zola. With a focus on emerging consumer platforms, media, and commerce, Taussig has made a name for himself in the startup world. Prior to his role at Lightspeed, Taussig spent 7 years at Highland Capital Partners, where he led early-stage investments in a variety of sectors, including real estate and virtual reality. He has also been involved in several notable acquisitions, such as Rethink Robotics and RentJuice. Taussig holds degrees from Harvard University and MIT and was a Baker Scholar at Harvard Business School. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring San Francisco's cultural scene and culinary offerings.
