Nathan Walworth, PhD

Dr. Nathan Walworth, PhD, is an entrepreneurial climate scientist and cultural futurist with expertise in exponential tech, ocean carbon removal, microbial genomics, regeneration, and culture prediction.

He is the NEXUS Futurism Ambassador and Co-founder of the NEXUS Impact Accelerator, focusing on accelerating diverse founders in circular manufacturing, machine learning, biotechnology, and social equity tech.

Formerly, Nathan served as the VP at Vesta, a prominent ocean carbon removal company, and now leads Scape, an ocean climate tech firm specializing in CO2 capture and critical metal recovery.

Additionally, he holds positions as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Southern California and an Adjunct Scientist at the J. Craig Venter Institute.
