Nathan Wallner is a man with a passion for physical and mental strength, self-defense, and martial arts training. He is the owner of the Tsunami Training Center, where he brings his love for Jiu Jitsu, mixed martial arts, and fitness to his students on the Oregon coast. Wallner's Jiu Jitsu lineage includes Jigoro Kano, Mitsuyo Maeda, Carlos Gracie Sr, Carlos Gracie Jr, Jean Jacques Machado, Eddie Bravo, and himself. His combat training started very young given his family background in athletics, with high school mats in the basement where he learned some tricks. During his stint in the United States Air Force, Wallner trained in boxing and had his first amateur open-hand palm strike fight at 19 years old while stationed in Minot, ND. Later on, Wallner developed a talent for a style of combat called Jiu Jitsu and went pro in 2009, having 10 fights, many of which were main events. Outside the MMA arena, Wallner created The Ultimate Foot Cleaning Station, earning lucrative partnerships with small and big soap companies such as Defense Soap. He also earned a black belt and first-degree black belt from Eddie Bravo. Wallner studied Associate of Arts (A.A.), Security Forces, Law Enforcement/Security, and Journalism and Communication at Lane Community College, Community College of the Air Force, and University of Oregon, respectively.
