Kenneth Brach
Professor of jiu jitsu
Kenneth Brach is a highly accomplished martial artist and instructor. He holds a 3rd degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and a 5th degree black belt in Korean Karate (Tang Soo Do).3 Brach is the owner of Brach's MMA, LLC, where he serves as a Professor of Jiu-Jitsu and Master of Karate.
Brach's martial arts journey began at the age of fifteen under Master D.A. Giacobbe, one of the first pioneers of martial arts in the tri-state area. He received his 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree black belts in Korean Karate under Master Giacobbe.1
After his initial martial arts training, Brach enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He was selected for an elite unit of Scout Snipers (STAplt) and served with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Force, participating in real-world operations.12
Following his military service, Brach focused on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He is part of Team Balance and received his black belt from John Hassett. Brach has competed successfully, winning a gold medal at the Pan American Jiu-Jitsu Championships under the coaching of Marco Perazzo.1
As an instructor, Brach emphasizes the importance of self-defense and awareness. He believes in prevention through heightened awareness and preparedness for situations when all else fails.4
