Nathan Hanks, a native of New York City born to immigrant parents from Cuba and Romania, grew up in Southwest Colorado and Cajun Country, instilling in him a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for liberty and free markets.

Starting his career with jobs at the local grocery store and family crop-dusting service, Nathan ventured into fields like retail, radio, and recruiting during his academic years, showcasing his diverse skill set and adaptability.

Driven by a passion for continuous learning and diverse interests, Nathan transitioned into the tech entrepreneurship realm, co-founding successful ventures like ReachLocal, MAX, and BrightAI, and contributing to various groundbreaking companies in advisory and board roles.

With a background in Business Administration, Political Science, and Mathematics/Computer Science, Nathan's educational journey traversed institutions like Centenary College of Louisiana, University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and Northwestern State University.

Having held key positions in organizations like iD Tech Camps, BrightAI, Music Audience Exchange, JONAH Technology Ventures, Quartet Health, MRINetwork, and ReachLocal, Nathan Hanks is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in tech entrepreneurship, leadership, and business growth.

Currently based in Dallas, Nathan cherishes his family life with his wife Anita, the founder of Starwood Academy, sharing a passion for education with their three children and proudly calling Texas home.
