Natalie Lundsteen

Natalie Lundsteen is a respected higher education adviser, writer, and researcher with a primary focus on PhDs and postdoctoral scholars in biomedical science, while also advocating for the broader community of PhDs and postdocs.

She currently holds the role of President of the Graduate Career Consortium, a dedicated community of practice for graduate career educators.

Natalie has a diverse background and research interests spanning higher education policy and administration, academic research in doctoral student learning and professional expertise development, internships and student transitions, student development particularly for doctoral researchers, career counseling, college admissions, and graduate employer branding, recruiting, and retention.

Aside from her responsibilities at UTSW, Natalie offers educational consulting services through two different firms: Educational Trajectories Consulting, assisting institutions and PhD students/postdocs, and Capital College Consulting, catering to individuals and families.

She is known for her expertise as a Gallup Strengths Coach and is certified to conduct career assessments such as the MBTI.
