Natalie Collar is a highly educated professional with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Civil and Environmental Engineering specialized in Environmental and Water Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. She holds a Master's degree in Environmental Science & Management with a focus on Water Resources Science from the Bren School at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Her Bachelor's degree, also from UC Santa Barbara, includes a dual focus on Ecology, Evolution, Marine Biology, Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology.
Natalie has gained diverse experience through various roles in different organizations. Currently, she serves as a Water Resources Scientist at Wright Water Engineers, Inc. Her past experiences include working as a Student Contractor at the U.S. Geological Survey, being a Ph.D. Candidate at Colorado School of Mines, interning at organizations like The Nature Conservancy, National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC), Goleta Water District, and Earth Research Institute at UCSB. She has also held positions such as Graduate Student Researcher, Editor, Environmental Modeler, Graduate Teaching Assistant, and Laboratory Technician in different academic and research settings.
