Developed algorithms and software for interrogating the proteome through mass spectrometry.  Specifically, my work focused on identifying novel or modified proteins using the genome as a template.  I developed a pipeline for automated gene finding that has discovered thousands of novel genes in maize, zebrafish, grape, and human.  I also developed the GenoMS algorithm for full-length sequencing of monoclonal antibodies.

For one quarter, led twice weekly discussion sections, held weekly office hours, and performed most of the grading for an introductory computer science class (CSE 100) at UCSD.  The class focused on Java programming.
