Najm Haq

Najm Haq is the founder of Naj Fu Studios LLC, a creative development consultancy based in Washington, D.C. He has a diverse educational background that combines science and humanities, which he leverages to create imaginative and enjoyable content. This unique blend allows him to apply behavioral science for developing realistic personalities, as well as concepts from biochemistry and cell biology for science fiction projects. He also incorporates anatomy, physiology, neurology, and philosophy into choreography.1

Najm Haq's professional experience includes roles such as Head of Development and Creative Director at Create Entertainment, and he has also worked as an instructor and teacher's assistant at Columbia College Chicago.1 His academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Language and Literature/Written Arts from Bard College, an Associate's degree in Health Sciences from The American International College of Arts and Sciences in Antigua, and a Master's degree in Creative Writing from Columbia College Chicago.1

In addition to English, Najm Haq is proficient in Spanish, Hindi, and Urdu.1 His work focuses on contemporary fiction with an emphasis on cultural identity, migration, and generational responsibilities, as well as science fiction and fantasy.1
