Nahom Fissaha

Nahom Fissaha is a project-based learner with a passion for interdisciplinary teamwork and problem-solving. With a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and a Minor in Geographic Science from James Madison University, Nahom has delved into diverse projects, utilizing human-centered design and lean methodology.

Nahom has contributed to a wide range of projects, from customizing a bike for a child with cerebral palsy to developing augmented reality data visualization tools for the US Army. His experience spans various organizations, including roles as an Azure Cloud Infrastructure Consultant at Microsoft, a Prototype Engineer at MediValley, and a Co-Founder at Youfory Flag Co. Among his accomplishments are positions as Virtual and Augmented Reality Evangelist at JMU X-Labs, University Innovation Fellow at Stanford University, and Engineering Intern at Professional Service Industries, Inc. (PSI).
