Naercio Menezes Filho

Naercio Aquino Menezes Filho is a prominent Brazilian economist and a member of the Academia Brasileira de Ciências (ABC), where he holds the title of Membro Titular in the field of Social Sciences. He graduated in Economics from the Universidade de São Paulo (USP) in 1986 and later obtained his master's degree in 1992 from the same institution. He completed his PhD at University College London in 1997.12
In addition to his academic qualifications, Menezes Filho is a professor of Economics at Insper, a well-known educational institution in Brazil. He has been actively involved in research and has published numerous articles in national and international academic journals.23 In 2014, he was elected as a full member of the ABC, recognizing his contributions to the field.24
