Mukelabai Ndiyoi is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in agronomy, farming systems research, and rural development.
He graduated from the University of Florida in 1988 with a degree in agronomy and a minor in farming systems research and rural development.
Mr. Ndiyoi has been actively involved in rural development and Agricultural Research since 1981, gaining valuable expertise in project evaluations.
Throughout his career, he has held various leadership roles, including as president of the Southern African Association of Farming Systems Research and Extension (SEAFSR-E) and as a founder member of the Farming Systems Association of Zambia (FASAZ).
His work has taken him across the SADC region, managing agricultural research programs at both provincial and national levels.
With a strong background in team collaboration, he has provided leadership and mentorship to new staff members.
Mr. Ndiyoi's professional journey includes roles in organizations such as Mwendi, Export Trading Group, Caritas Czech Republic, Ecorys UK, FAO, World Food Programme, and many others.
He has worked with various entities, including National Governments, Research Trusts, NGOs, Development Projects, and UN Agencies, showcasing his ability to collaborate effectively across different sectors and organizations.
His educational accomplishments include a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Agronomy and Crop Science from the University of Florida, further strengthening his expertise in the field.
