Rod Adkins
Rod Adkins is a prominent technology executive with vast experience in leading and transforming large-scale organizations. Mr. Adkins has held various leadership positions at IBM for over 30 years, working his way up from a mechanical engineer to a top executive. Additionally, he served as a member of the board of directors at PayPal and the Heidrick & Struggles consulting firm.
As an engineer by training, Adkins brings a unique problem-solving perspective to his roles as an executive. He has been at the forefront of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, cloud computing, and quantum computing. He is widely recognized as an advocate of diversity and inclusion in the workplace, and his leadership has been instrumental in developing and implementing IBM's diversity strategy.
Adkins is also a board member of the United Negro College Fund and the Society of Women Engineers. Outside of work, he has a passion for classical music and serves on the board of the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
