Seán McCabe, MSc.

Seán McCabe is a highly accomplished technology executive with a proven track record of building repeatable frameworks for predictable growth and product delivery. With an Executive Masters of Science in Technology Management from Wilfrid Laurier University, Waterloo, Seán has held senior positions at high-profile companies such as Google, TextNow, Aeryon Labs Inc, and BlackBerry, where he served as Vice President of Engineering. Seán is an inventor and publisher of the book, "The Hiring Mindset," and is passionate about unleashing teams that thrive and building organizational capabilities that scale.

Seán's career started at Berlitz International AB, where he worked as a Development Manager for Management Information Systems. He then worked as a Technical Implementation Manager at Siemens Nixdorf (Ireland) before joining AME Ireland as a Development Manager. Seán later served as an Implementation Manager (National) at Scottish Tourist Board (I.T. Consulting) before joining Intellitactics as a Director, Development Engineering Group. He joined Research In Motion (RIM) and served in various positions at the company, including Manager Software Integration, Director Program Management, Director Software Operations, and Director, Software Release Management.

Seán's expertise in program and project management led him to work as a Director of Program Management at BlackBerry and as the Founder, President and CEO of Antaa Technologies Inc. Seán is currently at Google, where he brings the power of machine learning to mobile developers with an incredible Firebase team.
