Quality Assurance Advisor to a leading consulting firm for a multi-billion dollar Department of Defense (MHS) healthcare IT project. Key inputs from data scientists were synthesized to create Lessons Learned for the client. Used Lean Six Sigma methods to create a process for managing lessons learned for PMO. Create a Quality Assurance plan for project governance and stakeholder management. Contract management of the Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) for the Leidos contract.

Quality Assurance Manager

Contracted through TDX Construction Corporation. Led a staff of eight construction mentoring consultants for the planning, execution, verification, and assessment of a $360M program. Position delivered governance, stakeholder management, and benefits realization to the Deputy Chief Diversity Officer, matrixed to the Chief Diversity Officer.

Guided a team of subject matter experts who launched a data analytics dashboard which displays program metrics in real-time.

 The MTA seeks to increase, facilitate and encourage the participation of small businesses, including Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (M/W/BEs) by providing a supportive framework for eligible firms to develop and grow within the construction industry and to establish stable, long-term business relationships with the MTA.

Southeast Queens Stormwater Program. The program is part of the City’s $1.9 billion investment to improve flooding and street conditions in southeast Queens. The program, which consists of 45 total infrastructure projects to be completed over the next 10 years, is the largest of its kind in the City. Co-led risk management workshops with the risk SME of the prime contractor.

The client was the New York City Department of Design & Construction (DDC).

- Selected in March 2008 as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt candidate assigned to Performance and Process Improvement. 
- Mastered 200+ hours of training that included four (4) methods: visual, auditory, doing/kinesthetic, and teaching/Socratic.
- Concurrently passed the PMP exam in May 2008.  
- Passed Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Green Belt exam in November 2008.
- Passed LSS Black Belt exams in December 2008. 

Led a Lean Six Sigma project team that used the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC) process to study the impact of organizational development planning & development plan management on the employee engagement of a 450 person Finance Staff. Presented to senior management a soft cost avoidance of $thousands per each retained employee. Utilized organizational change management (OCM) techniques to build awareness through communication, educate/train for understanding, build acceptance, and influence for buy-in. 

Created departmental dashboard that derived KPI metrics tied to CFO organization processes and goals (outcomes). Benchmarked and aligned metrics to a five-level process maturity hierarchy: Level-1 – Initial, Level-2 – Managed, Level-3 – Defined, Level-4 – Predictable, and Level-5 – Optimizing.

- Technology: Portfolio included Information & Communications Technology (ICT) investment, Systems Engineering, SAP Work Management, Digital Controls, Simulators and Emergency Communications
- Environmental & Sustainability Goals: Tasked with the governance of marine mitigation projects such as wetlands restoration and artificial reef

Recruited to provide executive leadership and supervision for the controllership & treasury functions of $60M (CWIP), 40-person, start-up general contractor and construction management firm. Directly supervised a staff of four professionals.  Some clients included City of Detroit Public Schools and Ford Motor Company. Original name was Michigan Industrial Group, LLC. 

Guided the firm through both bank credit line financing and corporate supply-chain processes that secured contracts; e.g. MBE certification (MMBDC/NMSDC). Involved as a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), Detroit District Council.

Recruited to fortify profitability, as well as, product delivery cost in the face of a newly competitive energy market.
