Jon Friend

Jon Friend is a technology-oriented public sector innovator and business strategist with extensive experience in government, spanning multiple verticals including taxation and licensing, public safety, finance, and transportation. With a BA in Political Science and Government from DePaul University, Jon brings an uncommon combination of expertise in public policy, process optimization, technology management, and business strategy to Clarity Partners, where he currently works as a manager. Before joining Clarity, he worked as a Senior Advisor, Chief Innovation Officer, and Chief Technology Officer at the City of Chicago's Office of the City Clerk, and as a Technology Project Manager/Business Analyst at the Illinois Department of Transportation. Jon leverages his experience in project management, technology implementation, and program design to help clients advance their business and solve problems of varying difficulty and technological complexity.
