Moses H. Choi

Moses Choi is a seasoned sustainable finance and impact investing professional with a strong background in executing over $15Bn+ in capital markets and principal investment transactions, including PE/VC and M&A.

As the Director in the Sustainable Finance Group (SFG) at RBC Capital Markets, Moses leads the team in the US, focusing on originating and structuring green, social, sustainability, and sustainability-linked bonds. He also advises corporate clients on the impact of Environmental, Social, and Governance topics on their equity valuation and equity offerings, particularly IPOs.

Prior to RBC Capital Markets, Moses held significant roles such as leading strategy, product innovation, and deal sourcing for Orange's digital and sustainable finance offerings. He also spearheaded the development of sustainable finance and impact investing solutions with cross-functional teams.

During his tenure at Morgan Stanley as Vice President, Moses led cross-asset origination in sustainable capital markets and impact investments. He also represented the firm on the ICMA’s Executive Committee on Green Bond Principles.

Starting his career at Citigroup, Moses executed debt and equity investments, including clean and renewable energy technology. He also played a key role in leading ESG product innovation for institutional clients.

Moses has contributed to various organizations such as the World Economic Forum, Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), and ImpactAssets. He has served as a Board Member of the Impact Capital Forum and contributed as a startup mentor at Techstars Impact, Unreasonable Institute, and Village Capital.

Educationally, Moses holds a master’s degree from the Fletcher School at Tufts University and earned his BS and BA degrees from Cornell University. He has also pursued specialized programs in Corporate Business Model Innovation and Venture Capital Executive Program at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
