Morten Wagner

Morten Oliver Nicolai Wagner is a Danish entrepreneur born in 1972 in Viborg, Denmark.1 He is best known for co-founding Dating.dk in 1998 with two friends, Peter Johan Sønderby-Wagner and Henrik Back.1

Business Ventures

Wagner is the founder of Freeway ApS, where he started as the Chief of Marketing in 1998.3 Under his leadership, the Freeway group has expanded to include many of Denmark's largest social networks, such as Arto.dk, Virtual Manager, Trendsales, spigo.dk, and DKBN.1 The company is involved in over 20 different websites and has been growing rapidly.1

Currently, Morten Oliver Wagner resides in Einsiedeln, Switzerland.1 He works on the internationalization of Freeway sites from there.1 Wagner comes from a notable family; his father is former top lawyer Morten L. Wagner, and his sister is Mia Wagner.1

In 2013, Wagner published an autobiography titled "Datingkongen" (The Dating King), which he co-wrote with Anders Houmøller Thomsen.1
