With kununu my job was to empower people to choose the right place to work and create a better workplace for all.

My assignment was to manage the founder transition and to accelerate growth of kununu in the DACH region, capturing the DACH market and expanding beyond Employer Branding.

Drove kununu fro 10 to >50 Mio Euro in revenues in 2020, accelerating growth from a CAGR of 10% yoy to 40% yoy in 2017 – 2019 on all relevant business KPIs.
Built a top notch c level and leadership team, developed strategy and implemented steering mechanisms for all of the organization to stay focussed on delivering against the strategy. For users adding salary transparency and culture assessment as value propositions.

Leading >120 full time employees located in Berlin, Boston, Hamburg, Porto and Vienna.

2016 I tried to expand kununu to the US and moved to Boston. Failed with the attempts and reverted the efforts end of 2020.

With XING my job was to empower professionals to get the most out of their XING membership and to add value beyond professional online networking - establishing the premium membership as a business club. 

My assignment was to revitalize growth of the stagnating main revenue streams Paid Memberships and Advertising. 

Took the Business Unit from 0% to 20% yoy revenue growth by 1) improving the Premium Membership product, 2) launching a Jobs Membership called ProJobs and 3) turning the Advertising business from Display into Native advertising launching new self service advertising products.

My assignment was to take over from the founder and to continue the success path of blau Mobilfunk as part of the new management team.

Developed the growth path for blau.de from Prepaid only Brand to a Prepaid and Postpaid business leading to almost doubling revenues in year 1 after launch, adding ≈ 60m Euros in revenues from 2011 – 2013. Launched the First branded reseller Product for Ethnic minorities with Netto Markendiscount (nettoworld).

My assignment was to establish the go to market under the Berge & Meer brand as one customer centric business and to unlock growth opportunities with new whitelable partners.

Developed Go to Market under the Berge & Meer brand (mainly Mail Order) into a user centric
Multi Channel approach leading to revenues growth of 50% year over year, adding ≈ 20m Euros in
revenues 2008 – 2011. Re-launched berge-meer.de, Introduced new Marketing Channels, launched new GTM strategies and tactics and reworked CRM strategy based on analytical insights. Restructured the organization to a user centric organization that focuses on user needs and behavior.
