One of the primary areas of focus was to ensure that our app remained up-to-date with the latest information and functionalities. To achieve this, I implemented automated data refreshing mechanisms, allowing the app to actively fetch and display the most current data to users. This not only improved the overall usability of the app but also ensured that users were always equipped with the most relevant information at their fingertips.

In addition to enhancing real-time data updates, I also delved into optimizing the app's performance to provide a smoother and more responsive experience for our users. Through careful analysis and optimization of various components and functionalities, I was able to significantly reduce loading times and improve overall responsiveness, thereby enhancing user satisfaction and engagement with the app.

Furthermore, I leveraged Firebase, our chosen backend solution, to its fullest potential by developing a plethora of custom TypeScript Firebase functions. These functions served as the backbone of our app's integration with third-party APIs, allowing for seamless communication and data exchange between different services and platforms. Whether it was integrating with external dental care providers or facilitating secure payment transactions, these Firebase functions played a crucial role in expanding the app's capabilities and enhancing its utility for our users.

I've played a pivotal role in integrating Flutter into their existing iOS app, elevating the user experience and expanding their reach across platforms. As part of the development process, I diligently review pull requests from the offshore team, providing valuable insights and ensuring seamless collaboration between the Flutter and Swift teams.

In addition to app development, I've taken on the responsibility of building their website app, their provider portal/HUB, using Flutter. This new platform allows for efficient and user-friendly interactions between providers and members, streamlining communication and enhancing overall efficiency.

Collaborating closely with the platform engineer, I've played a key role in synchronizing deadlines and projects, ensuring smooth progress and timely delivery of solutions. Our backend, hosted on AWS, provides a reliable and scalable foundation for the app and website, ensuring a seamless experience for users.
