Morgan Howard

Morgan Howard is a modern-day storyteller, combining her Native culture with her career in communications and business. She is the founder of Morgan Howard Communications and NativeCo.com, where she created a worldwide brand and merchandise line around the fishing vessel "Cornelia Marie," famous from Discovery Channel's "Deadliest Catch." She has served and continues to serve as a director on for-profit boards, including Sealaska, Tlingit Haida Tribal Business Corporation, and Yak-tat Kwaan, Inc.

Born and raised in Alaska, Morgan studied at Yakutat Elementary School and Kodiak High School before earning a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Production from Northern Arizona University. She continued her studies at Columbia College-Hollywood with a Bachelor of Arts in Film Production, and Oregon State University as an undecided transfer student. Morgan has previously served as a delegate for the Central Council of the Tlingit and Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska and as a producer for Northwest Indian News and a videographer for WNYW TV5 FOX and KSBW TV.

Morgan is most interested in the intersection of storytelling, technology, and business. She lives in Kirkland, Washington, with her wife and three children.
