Monica Shortino is an accomplished executive with expertise and results in community and external affairs, nonprofit development, operations, strategic leadership, foundation management, and corporate philanthropy.
With over 15 years of experience in leadership roles in both corporate and non-profit sectors, Monica has a proven track record of building collaborative partnerships, providing strategic growth for organizations, and creating innovative programs.
She holds a Master of Science (M.S.) in Business Administration and Management from The University of Texas at Dallas, a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Social Work from the University of North Texas, and has also studied at Abilene Christian University.
Monica has held various key roles in organizations, including Director of Social Innovation, Senior Manager of Social Innovation, and Senior Manager of Community Relations at Capital One.
Prior to her roles at Capital One, she served as the Executive Director of the Education Foundation at Plano ISD and held positions as the Director of Development and Operations at The Real Estate Council (TREC) and as the Director of Nonprofit Projects at The Bradley Group.
