In 2016, Monica founded Council of Liars, a boutique brand marketing agency based in New York, specializing in creative brand development, art direction, marketing strategy, and social media content management.

Monica's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Fashion Marketing and Management from Berkeley College-New York, along with studies in Criminal Justice at Caldwell University and education at Parsippany High School.

Throughout her career, Monica has held various key positions including Lifestyle Creative Director at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Senior Brand Marketing Manager at STATE Bags, Owner at Council of Liars, Marketing Manager, Americas at Liebeskind Berlin, and Brand Marketing and Sales Manager at Addison.
