Mona Mourshed

Mona Mourshed is a dedicated professional with a passion for ensuring access to quality education and employment opportunities for all individuals.

With a wealth of experience dating back to 1999, Mona has been actively involved in the Middle East region and played a pivotal role as a founding member of McKinsey's office in the area.

Between 2007 and 2017, Mona established and headed McKinsey's global education service line, focusing on researching high-performing school systems and addressing the challenges of the education to employment transition.

Furthermore, in 2014, Mona took on the role of founding global CEO at Generation, a non-profit organization dedicated to training individuals of all ages and placing them in previously inaccessible careers.

Mona Mourshed holds a Ph.D. in Economic Development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a B.A. in Development Studies from Stanford University.

Her previous roles include being the Head of Global Social Responsibility and a Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company.

Mona's expertise lies in education systems, workforce development, and social responsibility, making her a key figure in the drive towards equitable education and job opportunities worldwide.
