Molly Shea is a multi-talented and dynamic individual with an impressive background in the arts industry. She holds a Master of Fine Arts from the California Institute of the Arts, in addition to a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture, Performance Art, and Video from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Additionally, she received a high school degree in Art/Art Studies from Los Angeles County High School for the Arts.
Throughout her career, Shea has repeatedly demonstrated her passion for the arts in numerous roles. She has served as a content manager and archival assistant at Luis De Jesus Los Angeles, an artist liaison at Dyson & Womack, a graduate assistant for foundation art class at the California Institute of the Arts, and a casting associate at MysticArt Pictures, among various other positions. Additionally, she has worked in a variety of studio and gallery assistant roles, including at LACMA, Justin Bua, Saatchi Online, Gallery 400, and Sullivan Gallery. Furthermore, Shea has experience in social media management, art consultancy, and after-school teaching specializing in art and science.
Shea's exposure to diverse aspects of the art world has lent her a wealth of experience that she brings to her work. This multi-faceted individual not only has a strong background in studio work but also in other items that revolve around the arts, such as marketing, event planning, and administration.
