Emma Saperstein

Emma Saperstein is a highly accomplished individual with a diverse educational background in the arts and education, including a Bachelor's degree in Studio Art from Wheaton College, a Semester Study Program in Fine and Studio Arts from the New York Center for Art and Media Studies, a Masters of Art in Curating from Aarhus University, and a Masters of Education from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.

She has held key positions in various prestigious organizations, notably serving as the Chief Curator and Director of K-12 Programming at the San Luis Obispo Museum of Art. Emma Saperstein is also the Co-Curator and Founder of the Inverse Performance Art Festival and has curated exhibitions at the Harold J Miossi Art Gallery at Cuesta College. Her experience extends to global settings, having worked as the Global Portal Curator at Shared_Studios and as a Curating Partner at Level Gallery.

In addition to her institutional roles, Emma Saperstein has contributed significantly to the arts community as a freelance organizer and editor for publications such as HYSTERIA Magazine, Lumpen Magazine, Mash Tun Journal, and Proximity Magazine.
