Moji Pourmoradi
Executive Director
Moji Pourmoradi is the Executive Director of the Holocaust Memorial & Tolerance Center of Nassau County (HMTC) in Glen Cove, New York.12 She assumed this role in August 2023.23
Prior to becoming the Executive Director, Pourmoradi served as the Assistant Director of High School Programs at HMTC.2 In her current position, she leads the organization in its mission to educate students and the community about the Holocaust and promote tolerance and respect for all people.13
As Executive Director, Pourmoradi oversees various aspects of the center's operations, including:
Educational Programs
- Managing tours of the museum's exhibits
- Coordinating workshops and presentations for students, teachers, nurses, and police cadets
- Developing age-appropriate educational resources
Community Outreach
- Promoting tolerance and acceptance
- Advocating against antisemitism, racism, bullying, and other forms of intolerance
Administrative Duties
- Supervising staff members
- Collaborating with the Board of Directors
- Overseeing fundraising and development efforts
