Steven Krzanowski

Steven Krzanowski is a champion of diversity, equity, and inclusion who has dedicated his career to shaping inclusive environments. Steven grew up in rural America, where inclusion was not always a given, which ultimately led him to move to Washington, D.C., where he could find a better understanding of himself and others. His graduate experience allowed him to gain knowledge and skills in identity development, diversity, inclusion, and social justice that inspired him to keep advocating for inclusion. Currently, Steven works as a Senior Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Consultant at Nonprofit HR, where he helps dismantle systems and acts of bias, discrimination, and exclusion. He also has experience working in senior management positions in various organizations, including Autism Speaks and the Alzheimer's Association. In these organizations, he held leadership positions, managed projects, developed programs, and consistently worked towards raising awareness about inclusion, equality, and equity. Steven holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Communication and Media Studies from Marymount University.
