Moira Cullen, a dedicated advocate for at-risk children and a seasoned lobbyist, hails from Alexandria, VA, and currently resides in Denver, CO.

Educated at the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Psychology, Moira furthered her studies by pursuing a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Colorado State University, honing her skills in addressing social issues.

Her professional journey began with counseling adolescents at a residential treatment center, sparking her interest in public policy and advocacy to champion causes that impact vulnerable youth.

Transitioning into lobbying, Moira made significant contributions at the Colorado Children's Campaign, focusing on child health, education, and early childhood development.

She later elevated her career by assuming the role of legislative liaison at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, amplifying her impact in the public sector.

Co-founding The Capstone Group opened new avenues for Moira to leverage her expertise in policy advocacy and lobbying efforts towards fostering positive change in the community.

Moira's passion for education reform led her to become the founding State Director for Democrats for Education Reform (DFER) in Colorado, where she continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the education landscape.

In addition to her various roles, Moira is actively involved in the community and serves on the DFER Colorado Advisory Committee and the Investment Advisory Committee of the Girl Rising Global Education Fund.

With a deep-rooted commitment to educational equity, Moira devoted nine years to the board of Strive Prep charter school network, showcasing her dedication to breaking down barriers and ensuring quality education for underprivileged students.
