Maral Mohammadian is a producer at the National Film Board of Canada's Animation Studio in Montreal.
She has produced award-winning short films like Shannon Amen, Freaks of Nurture, The Weatherman and the Shadowboxer, and Deyzangeroo.
Maral has contributed to developing Canada's emerging talents through the NFB's Hothouse apprenticeship program and produced interactive projects like Museum of Symmetry.
Prior to her current role, she was involved with the Ottawa International Animation Festival and other artist-run and non-profit film organizations, focusing on alternative cinema.
