Miriam Stokes, MBA, SHRM-SCP, is an accomplished human resources director with a rich background across various industries, including higher education, private, and public sectors.

She holds a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Human Resource Management from the University of Baltimore and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Lincoln University.

Miriam's expertise lies in Talent Acquisition, Health Benefits Administration, People Management, HR Policies, and HR Systems.

With a strong professional foundation, she currently serves as the Director of Compensation and Recruitment at The Community College of Baltimore County.

Her previous roles include Employment Manager and Senior HR Consultant at Anne Arundel Community College, Employment Manager, Personnel Administrator, and various HR positions within the State of Maryland, as well as Human Resources Specialist roles at Crothall Services Group and Lincoln University.

Miriam's diverse experience also includes a stint as a Customer Service Representative at QVC.
