Miko Matsumura, a Silicon Valley-based entrepreneur and investor, is currently a General Partner at gCC Gumi Cryptos Capital. With over $400M in assets under management, the investment fund has made early-stage investments in successful unicorns like OpenSea, Yield Guild Games, Celsius Network, and more. Miko's passion for open-source software dates back 25 years when he served as the Chief Developer Evangelist for the Java Programming Language at Sun Microsystems. Since then, he has built open-source software startups, raising over $50M in venture capital for developer platform and financial infrastructure companies. Miko is also an advisor to successful startups such as Celsius, Idle Finance, PundiX, and KEYLESS. He has a Master's degree in Neuroscience from Yale University, where he worked on abstract computational neural networks.
