Mikhail Mishurovskiy is a highly accomplished professional with a background in video compression, machine learning, visual quality assessment, and management. With a doctorate in Visual Quality Assessment from the National Research University of Electronic Technology and a Master's Degree in Computer Software Engineering, Mikhail has gained extensive experience over the years. He has worked with several organizations such as Huawei, LUXSOFT, MTS Group, Intel Corporation, Samsung Russia R&D Institute, and UniqueICs. Mikhail has served as Head of Video Algorithms Group at Huawei, Chief Architect at LUXSOFT, Head of Machine Learning Department, and Information Technology Architect at MTS Group. Additionally, he has worked in several capacities at Samsung Russia R&D Institute, namely Superior Engineer, Deputy Group Leader, Deputy Group Leader of the Advanced Algorithms Group, and Part Leader of Image & Video Compression. Mikhail is a responsible and initiative-driven professional whose expertise lies in research & development of new algorithms, machine learning techniques applied to compression domains, and visual quality assessment. Moreover, he actively collaborates with different R&D groups and contributes to various open-source projects.
