Mike Pinelis, Ph.D.

Dr. Mike Pinelis is a seasoned professional with a strong focus on investments and mergers & acquisitions in the sensors, MEMS, and microtechnology sectors.

He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, as well as M.S. and B.S. degrees in the same field from the University of Michigan and Harvey Mudd College, respectively.

Throughout his career, Dr. Pinelis has been actively involved with various organizations, including serving as a member and angel investor in prominent groups such as Band of Angels, Silicon Catalyst Angels, Ann Arbor Angels, HMC INQ, Angel Capital Association, Michigan Angel Fund, and Michigan Venture Capital Association.

Previously, he has held key leadership positions as the President and CEO of Microtech Ventures, MEMS Journal, Inc., and MindCruiser, Inc., showcasing his extensive experience in driving business growth and development.

Dr. Pinelis has also contributed to the strategic advancement of companies by serving as the Director of Business Development at ISD Technology Group.

His educational background, combined with his wide-ranging involvement in the investment and technology sectors, underscores his expertise and influence in the industry.
