Mike McBride, a skilled and experienced Marketing Director, boasts an impressive background in art, graphic design, and web development. After graduating with a BFA in Communication Graphics/Graphic Design from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, McBride launched his career with UMI Publications as a Graphic Designer. His responsibilities included the design and layout of sports publications, including the official NASCAR Preview and Press Guide magazine, and as Project Manager/Creative Director/Marketing Head for The ACC Basketball Handbook magazine, he coordinated with writers and photographers and controlled all marketing aspects of the magazine. After his effective management, the magazine’s ad sales tripled and sales increased. In 2000, he joined Osprey to enhance their Creative Design group's Internet technologies and became the company Webmaster within four months. Mike’s accomplishments as a Webmaster were notable and he was successful in attracting a large following with no paid banner advertising.
Since January 2007, McBride has been the Marketing Director at Industrial Test Systems, a company that focuses on international manufacturing. He rebranded the company identity, introduced ITS to untapped markets, revamped the website that incorporated social media and created an SEO presence and improved shopping experience. In the first month of the new site launch, web sales increased by 15%. McBride stays involved in his community by volunteering in various non-profit organizations as a board member, committee member and marketing director, including Camp Boomerang, an Autistic inclusion camp, TigerWorld and his local School Improvement Council.
