Mike MacCombie

Mike MacCombie is a Venture Partner at NextGen Venture Partners, a network of venture partners that support startups and founders. He brings experience from previous roles at H/L Ventures, Techstars, and Sandbox.13

As Director of Platform at ff Venture Capital, a New York City-based early stage firm, Mike was responsible for creating partnerships, communities, and systems to accelerate the growth of over 80 portfolio companies.1 He has also served as a mentor for the Techstars NYC accelerator and Quake Capital.1

Mike is passionate about helping entrepreneurs build great companies and creating communities to support them, often incorporating behavior science into his work.2 He enjoys throwing behavior science into the mix to help the next generation of leading influencers develop their communication skills, connection-building skills, and potential paths to become change makers.2

Mike received his BA in Economics, Public Policy, and Education from Brown University in 2011 and completed Seth Godin's altMBA program in 2016.2 He is fluent in English and has proficiency in French, Haitian Creole, and Spanish.2
