He later pursued higher education and achieved a Master of Public Administration in Financial Management from New York University.

Larson's professional journey began as a Mathematics Teacher at Woodrow Wilson High School. He then became a Corps Member at Teach For America, where he continued providing impactful education to students in need. Larson went on to hold several key positions at Teach For America, including Development Director, Managing Director, and Senior Managing Director of Growth Development and Partnerships. He also served as UBS NextGen Leaders' Program Manager before his current role as National Development Director at Democrats for Education Reform.

Larson's expertise includes strong leadership and development skills, especially in the non-profit and education sectors. He also possesses intricate knowledge of educational funding and management and has a comprehensive understanding of the financial sector. Through his work, Larson has helped to create opportunities for countless students and has tackled some of the most significant challenges facing Education, including funding and management.
