Mike Branham has an extensive career of over 29 years at the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office, starting from a corrections officer to the current position as Sheriff since 2015.
Throughout his career, Branham has held various roles including reserve deputy, 911 dispatcher and supervisor, patrol deputy, detective, detective sergeant, training coordinator, and Chief Deputy.
Branham has received specialized training in motor vehicle crash reconstruction, criminal investigations, S.W.A.T., and is a certified instructor by the Indiana Law Enforcement Training Board.

He has also studied Electrical Engineering at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and has a background in high school education at Bedford North Lawrence H.S.
