Miguel Martinez

Miguel Martinez is a highly accomplished Sr. Program Manager at Microsoft for Power BI Desktop, with an extensive background in the airline industry, software, media, retail, and government projects. He graduated from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile with a degree in Industrial and Electrical Engineering and went on to earn an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley - Walter A. Haas School of Business. He is an expert in Business Intelligence, marketing, product management, simulation, pricing, network optimization, operations, inventory management, marketing, vendor negotiations, internal consulting, market research, product and project management, e-commerce, music, and IP for media and entertainment industries.

Throughout his career, Martinez has held several senior positions, including Sr. Product Marketing Manager at Microsoft, Sr. Business Manager at Amazon, and Product Marketing/Business Development Intern at MediaMall Technologies. He's also worked on government and corporation projects, such as Corporate Schedule Senior Manager at LAN Airlines, and was the Co-founder and Owner of Sala Ensayo Oveja Negra in Chile. Additionally, Martinez shares his expertise by having been a Graduate Student Instructor at UC Berkeley and VP of Technology and Communications at LAHBA among others.

Martinez's passion for music is evident from being a co-owner of a recording studio in Chile with his ex-bandmates. He brings a unique combination of engineering and business acumen combined with a passion for music and media, which sets him apart in designing unique projects and strategies that redefines the industry's roadmap.
