Mickey Mellen

Mickey Mellen, a seasoned professional with diverse experience, co-founded GreenMellen alongside Ali Green in 2009, where he currently serves as the Technical Managing Partner, offering valuable technical and business guidance to clients.

An avid knowledge-sharer and speaker, Mickey spearheads the A Brighter Web meetup in Atlanta, a role he has performed since 2012. Additionally, he is an active blogger on his personal website and a co-host of the Brighter Web podcast with Robert Carnes.

Bringing with him almost twenty years of WordPress expertise, Mickey actively supports WordCamp Atlanta and is a recent graduate of the altMBA program. Located in Marietta, he resides with his wife, Kelly, and their two daughters.

Mickey's educational background includes studying Computer Science at Saginaw Valley State University and participating in the altMBA 46 Ibex Cohort at altMBA.

Throughout his career, Mickey has held various roles in organizations such as Partner and Technical Director at GreenMellen, Owner at MickMel, Inc, and positions involving writing, website management, IT support, and more at esteemed entities like Google Earth Blog, First UMC, and Saint Joseph's Hospital.
