In the world of S.T.E.M. education, Michole Washington shines as a beacon of empowerment and equity. With a passion for fostering quality opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics for underestimated individuals, Washington's expertise spans from curriculum design to program assessment. Having directed numerous S.T.E.M. enrichment initiatives and founded Afrithmetic Tutoring, her impact on over 200 K-16 students is undeniable. Noteworthy achievements include securing over $10K for a math summer program and earning prestigious fellowships totaling over $500,000 for her Ph.D. and Master's degrees in Mathematics Education and Applied Mathematics, respectively. Currently on the path to a Doctor of Philosophy degree at the University of Michigan, Washington's dedication to promoting diversity and inclusion in traditionally exclusive S.T.E.M. spaces is unwavering. When not immersed in the world of education, she can be found pursuing her passions for cats, cooking, and roller skating across her dual residences in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and Atlanta, Georgia.
