Michi Jigarjian is a versatile professional serving as a Partner and Chief Social Impact Officer at the 7G Group, a renowned investment management firm focusing on values-based investments. Her role involves overseeing social impact initiatives that enhance community engagement and art projects.
Apart from her corporate position, Jigarjian is actively involved in the art world as a socially engaged artist, community facilitator, and educator. Her leadership skills are evident as the President of Baxter St at CCNY, a well-established artist-run non-profit organization, where she has played a key role in creating opportunities for underrepresented and emerging lens-based artists.
She has a strong literary background as the co-founder of Secretary Press and New Draft Collective, publishing projects that reflect her expertise in creative writing. Jigarjian is also an accomplished author, with books such as Writing as Practice, How We Do Both: Art and Motherhood, and the three-volume series Mold.
In terms of education, Jigarjian holds a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) in Photography from Bard College, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Photography and Graphic Design from Lehigh University, and has also studied in the General Studies Program in Photography at the International Center of Photography.
