During her tenure at Netflix, Slavich led a team of over 300 employees, managing film and series publicity, influencer outreach, multicultural PR, studio photography, events, and publishing ventures like Tudum.com, podcasts, and Queue Magazine.
She also spearheaded Netflix's annual global fan event, Tudum, which garnered 78M+ views in 2023 and received a prestigious Clio Award.
Prior to Netflix, Slavich served as EVP, Global Publicity & Strategy at Warner Bros., where her team won consecutive Publicist Guild Campaign of the Year Awards.
Her role at YouTube/Google involved directing PR strategy for various divisions, overseeing corporate, consumer, and crisis communications, and launching subscription services like YouTube TV, YT Premium, and YT Music.
During her decade-long stint at Universal Studios Home Entertainment, Slavich managed global campaigns for major film studios like Universal, Focus Features, and NBC, earning valuable experience in public affairs campaigns.
Michelle Slavich's career began at Steven Spielberg's Shoah Foundation before transitioning to DreamWorks/Amblin Entertainment, where she worked on PR and marketing for Spielberg himself.
She holds dual degrees in Psychology and Anthropology from UCLA and is a former student of Acalanes High School.
