Michelle Lu, Lead Product Manager at Smartly.io

Michelle Lu is the Lead Product Manager for the Creative AI Lab at Smartly.io, an AdTech company that helps enterprise advertisers run ads across platforms like Google, Meta, and TikTok.1 She started and leads Smartly's Creative AI product track.1

Prior to Smartly, Michelle co-founded Viralspace, a creative insights for digital ads startup, which was acquired by Smartly in 2021.1 At Viralspace, she ran product, design, and customer success.1

Michelle studied Product Design at Stanford University from 2015-2019.1 She was also heavily involved in the entrepreneurship community as VP Marketing at BASES.1

Outside of work, Michelle enjoys creative pursuits like ballet dancing and exploring art and music events in San Francisco.1 She also loves experimenting with AI and thinking about its impact on everyday technology interactions.1
